Happy World Students Day 2021

Happy World Students Day 2020 is observed on 15th of October.

“Everyone is a student of life as we all keep learning something or the other throughout our lives.”

World students day is observed on 15th of October every year. This is an annual celebration. This day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of the Former President of India, Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Azad. 

This day is celebrated for the students. As Dr.kalam was a teacher and he loved his students, he raised his voice for them.  He said to students that “If you fail, never give up because FAIL means ‘first attempt in learning’.”

“One of the very important characteristics of a student is to question.”

ROLE OF STUDENTS IN NATION DEVELOPMENT

  • Students are very important for the development of the nation.
  • Students are the future of the country.
  • They play a vital role in the nation’s development.
  • Students represent the country in the world.
  • Students’ skills are helpful for national development.
  • Students will provide a good society for the future.
  • They are going to be the future businessman and industrialist and doctors,etc.
  • Students can help the illiterate childrens to read and write.
  • Students fight against anti social activities.
  • Students can fight against corruption.
  • They can help others in quitting drugs and drinks.

“The man who does not read books has no advantage over the one who cannot read them.” 

TYPES OF STUDENTS

  2. Class Clown
  3. Phone lovers
  4. Lazy
  5. Daydreamer
  6. All rounder
  7. Perfectionist
  8. Anxious
  9. Artist
  10. Never prepared
  11. Hardworker

OVER ACHIEVER STUDENT:

There are some overachieving students, who ask for more homework. These students have millions of questions and they go ahead of the class. They prepare for everything in advance.

CLASS CLOWN STUDENT:

There are some students who never take themselves or life too seriously. They are supposed to talk and do funny pranks or say jokes during the class and disturb the class. They always interrupt the whole class and do not make the students and others concentrate in the class. But even they make you laugh when you are in stress.

PHONE LOVER STUDENT:

There are some students who never leave their phones. They are supposed to be on their phones most of the time. They are used to texting their friends and doing silly things on the phone, instead of studying.

LAZY STUDENT:

There are some students who are very lazy. They attend the class physically but mentally they are in their own world. They are used to sleeping during the class,no matter how uncomfortable the seats are or how fascinating you think a class is.

DAYDREAMER STUDENT:

There is always a student in the class who always daydreams. He always thinks about something in the class. They close their eyes and go to their dreams.

ALL ROUNDER:

Some students are all rounder. They are good at everything. They get involved in everything that happens in the class. They participate in all the activities.

PERFECTIONIST STUDENT:

There is a student in every class who seems to be perfect and everyone wants them to become like that student. These students are funny,good looking,nice in nature and behaviour and good at studies too.

ANXIOUS STUDENT:

The student’s life is not that easy but it is not that tough. But there are some students who always get worried about everything. They always think about things very much whether it is about making nites or about exams or the result.

ARTIST STUDENT:

There are some students who are really great artists. They play music or dance or draw sketches or do some other artistic things in the class.

NEVER PREPARED STUDENT:

Some students are never prepared for classroom work. These students always borrow notes,pen,pencil,etc from others.

HARDWORKING STUDENT:

There are some students who are more hardworking than the others. They always work hard for everything. They want everything hundred percent and that is why they give their hundred percent.

“Strive for progress, not perfection.”

STEPS TAKEN BY THE GOVERNMENT FOR STUDENT’S DEVELOPMENT

The government had taken many steps for the development of students and to encourage them. Here we have mentioned some of them for you.

  1. Happiness curriculum
  2. Cleanliness curriculum
  3. Special curriculum
  4. Limits of school bags
  5. No detention policy

HAPPINESS CURRICULUM:

The delhi government introduced this curriculum. It has been introduced for the students of nursery to class 8 in government schools from July 12, 2018.

CLEANLINESS CURRICULUM:

This is also introduced by the delhi government. This is an activity based curriculum. 

SPECIAL CURRICULUM:

This curriculum is introduced by the delhi government. This is baked on the government-run schools in the state will soon have an ‘Entrepreneurship Curriculum’ for students.

LIMITS OF SCHOOL BAGS:

The government has also introduced the limits of bags for the students. The students are tired of heavy bags that is why the government has introduced this. The weight of bags of students of Class I and II Should not be above 1.5 kg. For the students Classes III to V Two-three kg. The students of Classes VI-VII Four kg. For the students of Classes VIII-IX 4.5 kg. For the students of Class X Five kg.

NO DETENTION POLICY:

No detention policy is introduced for a regular examination in classes 5 and 8. If the child fails, he or she shall be given additional opportunity for re-examination in two months’ time.
